My sister loved it! I have a better picture on my camera, but for now:
Just casting on...
Hi all,
I just cast on this am! I'm off work all week, so I hope I can make good progress on it...along with the 3 other knitalongs I signed up for. I'm using Colorado Yarns' Knitaly in a dusky rose. I'll post a pic when I'm farther along!
Cheers,
Suzie
ayeeee
Is this taking anyone else forever? I keep getting sleepy when I knit it-- must be hypnotic! Anyway, I'm halfway through, but I need to finish teh rest tonight & tomorrow, since I'm gifting it on Tuesday!!

Joining you
Hiya,
I started Wavy earlier this week, and it's such a fun and easy knit! I'm in love :-)
I'm using a 60/40 wool and acrylic mix which was originally supposed to be turned into socks.
Here's what it looks like after four pattern repeats:
PS: I don't have a button (yet), I'm afraid ...
Joining the Wavy bandwagon
I just started Wavy Wednesday and got through the first set of pattern repeats by Thursday. I'm using Supermerino from
Artyarns. The color is 121, which is a turquoise or teal color. I have four skeins of this wonderful yarn. I made the bad stash-enhancing habit of buying the yarn, but didn't have a project for it. Now I have a valid project which I think justifies the purchase!
I was able to work on it more last night during the season finale of "The Apprentice" and almost finished off one skein. I believe I've done 3 sets of rows. Currently, it's about 16 inches long. I really like how it's turning out. At first, I didn't like the way the handpainted yarn made it look uneven, but the more rows I made, the better it looked. It actually hides more of the imperfections.
About to cast on...
I've decided on the yarn - a "vintage" (ie, one that I inherited from my grandmother) British made Flying Fox yarn (anybody heard of this? Nothing came up when I googled to find a pic). In shade 272, which is, well, to be kind, it looks like camouflage yarn! I'll get a pic of it soon.
It's underway!
I knitted the first 44 rows tonight. It looks cool! I'll take a picture tomorrow. It's a teeny bit time-intensive for a scarf, I think, or maybe I was just tired, but I hope I can get more than 44 rows in per day!
Welcome!
